Jiang Hao Yi, is a normal high school kid who stays out of trouble but soon he becomes the harem king of the school. He has all the most beautiful girls of the school confessing to him and he doesn’t even know these girls. With all the guys now after him because he’s taking all the girls, he ends up falling off the roof of the school when an angel/goddess/cupid comes to save him and she explains the situation that he finds himself in with the girls. Konosuba is a show that I was going to pass on but I started watching. Was not impressed at first but the show kind of grows on you. And it seriously grew on Japan because it started getting the top rank in Japanese polls after a few weeks.
Satou is a hikikomori who’s life came to an end in a traffic accident. At least that’s what he thought but he woke up in front of a girl who called herself a goddess. She offers him the chance to go to another world but he can only take one thing with him. He couldn’t think of anything so he answered by saying he’d take HER. And so the journey begins, an adventure where the reborn Satou and the goddess must now slay the Demon King. Continue readingby
So I finally decided to watch the Grisaia trilogy again. Well it’s not truly a trilogy since it’s a 13 episode first season, a 45 minute movie and then a 10 episode second season. That movie could have been chopped into a few episodes and merged into the second season. Let’s get into it.
The Fruit of Grisaia/Gurizaia no Kajitsu starts out like a typical harem anime. You meet the guy and some of the girls and the others stat coming into the picture. This first season follows Yuuji and his integration nto an all girls academy. Along the way he meets some really odd girls who each have their own issues. Yuuji’s mission is to help the girls with their issues which of course leads to forming bonds and getting him to break out of his own shell. If you’re only looking for your typical harem anime then you will want to stop here, the rest of the series takes a more serious turn though t still has comedy since comedy is part of the harem formula. So God Eater is back and looks as good as it did before but how is the content? Well God Eater is a good looking show with great music but some episodes were lacking. It was like one week up and one week down…when it actually aired. The first 9 episodes were on last spring but you would get an episode and then the next might be delayed for 2 weeks. it was not a good showing for God Eater but it was moved around because special events and other random things.
Episode 10 was a major flashback episode which to me lacked something. It just didn’t feel like the same show. But episode 11 was an A. Might be the best episode so far. God Eater was scheduled for 13 episodes so there’s only 2 more left. Though with all the time that has passed, most people probably need to go back and watch the first 9.by
The show is about the Japanese Ministry of Defense and their anti-paranormal special forces called the Supernatural Disaster Prevention Office. They’re tasked with protecting Japan from supernatural and paranormal events. Of course there are missions that go awry and you’re dropped right into the middle of one from the beginning of the show. Heroes slaying Demon Kings go hand in hand when it comes to anime and that’s exactly where this anime starts off. So a hero is sent to the demon realm to slay the Demon King and what he encounters is definitely not what he was expected. He runs into a buxom beauty claiming to be the Demon King. They go back and forth since he has a problem believing that she is the one everyone is afraid of. Instead of an epic battle, she engages him in conversation about how war does not benefit either way. This leads them down a path that neither one could have imagined. Continue readingby
A lot of you will be familiar with Shuri from her anime this past season. It was a short show at only about 2 minutes but it was a good introduction to Shuri and her friends. You’ll see that the anime came directly from the source material. Since it’s a 4koma, they extend situations to fit on the big screen but sometimes it was like watching the show again.
Shuri is a junior high school girl who can’t refuse any request no matter what it is. You wouldn’t be able to tell she’s young since she’s well developed compared to the others, she looks more like a teacher than their friend. But she is an innocent girl who just likes helping people. If anyone needs something, they go to Shuri. It works in another way too. If someone says they want her to pass a test, one she’s normally have issues with, then she’ll do it. Continue readingby
